Description

The square fiber drum ECO DRUM is a patent of DENSA AG, whose history goes back to 1907. At that time, Bühler-Kähny AG (later Fass- und Kistenfabrik Basel AG) founded a mechanized wooden barrel factory, which soon also produced fiber drums and plastic drums. The space-saving ECO DRUM was developed to increase transport efficiency. Thanks to the enormous process advantages, the ECO DRUM was able to quickly establish itself in the market and today has large market shares. DENSA AG focuses on the large market players in the chemical and food sector, but thanks to the efficient and automated manufacturing process it can also economically process smaller batches.
