The origin of this traditional brand is inextricably linked to the production site in Wilhelmsburg in Lower Austria. Although the porcelain production in Wilhelmsburg came to an end in 1997 - after 202 years of history - a new chapter was opened for lilies. Under the roof of the Czech premium producer "Benedikt Group", Lilien is a competent part of a brand center virate, which consists of the top brands "Gebrüder Benedikt", "Langenthal" and "Lilien". Massive investments in the production site in Dvory in the Czech Republic, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous spa town of Karlovy Vary, where Goethe already cured his ailments, show that innovation is just as important as tradition. It was only in 2009 that a new kiln was purchased, which not only guarantees the highest quality of porcelain, but also works according to the most modern aspects of resource conservation. A total of around two hundred motivated employees manufacture the high-quality porcelain parts. Demanding skills, such as painting and decorating, are sometimes even done by hand. Thus, Lilien's claim to be a high-quality premium hotel porcelain that enables its customers to spoil guests with excellent table settings has changed absolutely nothing.
