Flexible, fast and reliable 1991 After years of work as a technical manager in a plastics processing company, Peter Trinkaus takes the step into self-employment. Together with his wife Annegret Trinkaus, he founded the PETRI packaging company. He takes over the commercial representation in northern Germany for the company AST Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH. 1992 The order situation increases rapidly and a first warehouse is rented. 1994 With a keen eye for the camping area, the first canisters are produced from our own molds. A second mainstay develops. 1996 Commitment, quality and reliability pay off. After only six years, a new location with larger storage capacities is sought and found. The customer base continues to grow. The first office outside the private house is set up and the company's own fleet is started by a truck. 1998 PETRI packaging takes over the company "Wehalit" - Heinrich Wenigmann plastic goods factory. 2001 The inclusion of sheet metal and steel products makes the product range ever more diverse. Increasing demand and a range that responds to the demands of the market set the course for an even greater expansion of storage capacities. 2002 An 8000 sqm plot with 1000 sqm warehouse and office is rented. Now there is space to expand the assembly workshop. Peter and Annegret Trinkaus have now created an optimal infrastructure for the increasing demand for industrial packaging and the production of camping articles. 2009 Peter Trinkaus dies suddenly on September 9, 2009 from sudden heart failure. From then on, his wife Annegret Trinkaus took over the management of the company. In the same year on December 1st, 2009, the daughter Annika van Well entered the business. 2013 Another hall with over 600 sqm is built. True to the company's philosophy of “promptly fulfilling customer requests”, the company continues to expand. 2017 In February 2017, the son of company founder Justin Trinkaus also joins the company. Another new warehouse is put into operation. 2018 Commitment, quality and reliability continue to characterize the workings of the 2nd generation family-owned company PETRI Verpackungen.
