Description
The Norbert Sapp company has been in existence for 75 years and is a third-generation family-run business. After a new production hall was built and the company moved to its current location in 1980, systems for surface technology (pretreatment systems, dryers, conveyor systems, special systems) are designed, produced and assembled.
The company's "second mainstay" are steel construction, steel and welded constructions of all kinds, general sheet metal processing and the manufacture of machine frames and housings. Over the years, the production hall was expanded several times and an administrative wing was added.
On a 3,000 m2 production area, the products constructed at four CAD workstations up to a weight of 15 tons each are manufactured by a well-established team of employees on modern, mostly CNC-controlled machines. The company is approved for all common welding processes and since 1992 also a specialist company according to the WHG (Water Resources Act) with a monitoring contract with the TüV-Nord. This enables Sapp to manufacture, assemble and maintain systems and containers for water-polluting media.
Young employees are continuously trained to become metal workers specializing in construction technology. A large proportion of the company's employees have been with the Sapp company for many years, some of them since their apprenticeship, and have played a key role in the company's development.
