Sortimo International GmbH has been successfully developing, manufacturing and selling tailor-made vehicle interior solutions for over 40 years. Today's product portfolio includes branch-specific furnishing solutions for companies from trade, craft and industry. Sortimo International is represented in Germany with nine branches and 24 Sortimo stations as well as twelve international subsidiaries in the core markets of Europe and the USA. The founder: Herbert Dischinger, founder of Sortimo, opened a wholesale company for fastening technology in Augsburg at the age of 25. Here he sells handicrafts such as screws and dowels. In order to meet the requirements of its craft customers, the range grows with drilling machines, ladders and everything the craftsman needs. Herbert Dischinger moves his business to Augsburg-Lechhausen, where he has more space available. The idea: For dowels, screws and everything that was stored in boxes and bags by the craftsman, the tinkerer creates inset boxes made of plastic that fit exactly into a metal case, the KM 321.
